Presented by Broad Arrow Auctions and driven by Hagerty, a leading global collector car auction house, this cherished event will once again bring some of America’s finest brass-era automobiles to the scenic roads of Newport and Bristol, Rhode Island.

Donald Osborne, ASA, North American Representative for the renowned Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens, esteemed classic car historian, author, appraiser, and Consulting Director of the prestigious Audrain Automobile Museum, will be participating as a judge and available for onsite vehicle consultations.

Grand Marshal Donald Osborne, will host a talk at 2 p.m. in the Gardens’ Outdoor Classroom titled Monuments in Motion- Landmarks in Automotive Design. Donald Osborne ASA, is a classic car historian, consultant, accredited appraiser, author, curator, the principal of Automotive Valuation Services and a Consulting Director of the Audrain Group in Newport, Rhode Island.

2025 Audrain Newport Concours and Motor — Seminar Series

Friday, Oct. 3, 2:30 to 3:30 pm – Audrain Newport Concours and Motor Week — at the historic Casino Theater on the grounds of the International Tennis Hall of Fame — Donald will be moderating the “Form & Function – Designing for Purpose, on the Road & Wrist” seminar with Anthonie de Haas, Director of Product Development, A. Lange & Söhne and Michael Simcoe, General Motors Senior VP, Global Design, retired, discussing the challenges and opportunities in creating memorable products for demanding and discerning audiences, whether that be a new automobile or an important new watch.

Saturday, Oct. 4, 2:30 to 3:30 pm – at the historic Casino Theater on the grounds of the International Tennis Hall of Fame– “Behind the Driver – Running a Winning Race Team” — Donald will lead the conversation with Tony Kanaan Team Principal of the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team and championship-winning driver and Ray Evernham, a NASCAR and Motorsports Hall of Fame, team owner and consultant, three-time Winston Cup Series champion crew chief with Jeff Gordon, on what it takes to get the person at the wheel into the winner’s circle.   The seminar will bring you onto the pit wall, into the garage and the minds of winners.

PEBBLE BEACH CONCOURS d’ELEGANCE

Donald will be attending and judging at The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the flagship of Pebble Beach Automotive Week. He will also be in attendance at the auction previews of RM Sotheby’s, Gooding & Co, Broad Arrow Auctions and Bonhams, where consultations can be scheduled to review vehicles on offer.
