The 3rd Annual Sculpture in Motion

The third annual Sculpture in Motion at the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens in West Palm Beach is a community exhibition dedicated to the “The Art of Pre- and Post-War Automobiles.” Innovation is a theme throughout this exhibition, confirming that art, science, and technology go hand in hand. During the community exhibition visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to experience the history and design of 12-14 rare, one of a kind, classic pre- and post-war automobiles in this “dream car” exhibition.  I will also be signing and selling copies of my book, Stile Transatlantico / Transatlantic Style- A Romance of Fins and Chrome, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and a portion of the proceeds will go to ANSG.

Designing Freedom: The Road Trip Revisited

The road trip has long defined the emotional promise of the car: freedom, exploration and connection with the road. But as vehicles become electric, connected and increasingly autonomous, that experience is changing. Donald will be a panelist with leading designers to explore how the idea of the road trip is evolving and how vehicle design can keep the journey as compelling as the destination.
